WCN's Mission
WCN protects endangered species and preserves their natural habitats by supporting entrepreneurial conservationists who pursue innovative strategies for people and wildlife to co-exist and thrive.

WCN fosters the entrepreneurial spirit in the field of conservation. We partner with independent, community-based conservationists around the world and provide them with the capital and tools they need to develop solutions for human-wildlife coexistence. To magnify the effectiveness of their work, we sustain a strong network of wildlife supporters through which these courageous conservationists may learn from each other and communicate directly with passionate donors.

You can designate 100% of any donation to the conservation of a specific species, allowing you to have impact where it is most meaningful to you.

Penguins:
Natural History
and Conservation
Penguins, among the most delightful creatures in the world, are also among the most vulnerable. The fragile status of most penguin populations today mirrors the troubled condition of the southern oceans, as well as larger marine conservation problems: climate change, pollution, and fisheries mismanagement.

Penguins, a new book from 2012 Wildlife Conservation Expo guest speaker Pablo Borboroglu, along with P. Dee Boersma, presents the most current knowledge on each of the eighteen penguin species and information about current conservation efforts. This beautifully illustrated book has just been nominated for a National Book Award.
